Second Look At R.TL

Popped in to the brand new R.TL in Yaletown tonight for a digestif on my way home from DB Bistro. The new restaurant, helmed by Alain Canuel, is looking good. The film above is from tonight but I’ve also added the preview video below for the sake of contrast, plus some Flickr shots of the unfinished product, taken a couple of weeks ago. Very cozy spot. It has a speakeasy cave feel to it that I totally dig. The private cubby (think George’s G-Spot) charms with its bookcase door.
