We’re a pretty satisfied bunch, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t covetous. Sometimes we see things out there that we just must have. Cool Things We Want is an archive of those earthly desires.
It’s holiday decoration time, and we have our eye on an intricately layered wooden wreath from local maker Alex Henderson, aka Henderson Dry Goods. Why kibosh the traditional pine option? We certainly have nothing against a gorgeous greenery arrangement, but we’re hoping this cool and creative alternative will supply us with the fresh wood smell that we love without shedding pine needles everywhere. Bonus: we know that we’ll be happy to hoist it on our door or use it as a centrepiece at festive celebrations for years to come.
The wreaths range from $62 for the two-layered option, but we have our hearts set on Henderson’s $72 three-layered version with maple and cherry wood (pictured above). Head over to her Etsy page to hook yourself up now.

This year I’ve added a third layer to the very popular wreath. #lovemylaser #maplecherrywalnut
