Spy-Fa-Fa | Food Colloquialism | Short for “Spicy-Fatty-Fat”, which is the most gluttonous way of tailoring your order in a ramen restaurant. Though a reference to the heat-level, cut of meat, and type of soup broth, it’s increasingly employed as a colloquial expression of appreciation for something intensely delicious among ramen enthusiasts. To wit, a perfect steak or bowl of pasta can be “Spy-Fa-Fa”.
Variations could be Mild-Lean-Lean (My-Li-Li), Mild-Fat-Lean (My-Fa-Li), and so on, but these have not mutated in meaning.
