Corner Lad | Slang | Either of the corner seats at the back of a public bus. The term originated in Victoria in the 1980s. Short for “corner lateral”.

Usage: [at the bus stop] “Bullshit. You have to see the bus before you can call shotgun on corner lad. It’s the rules.”
