Strange Fellows Beer Set to Release New Jukefest Beer

Vancouver, BC | We have a new beer release coming up available on tap on Sep 21st at our tasting room – Jukefest Beer.

This beer has been created as a collaboration with Juke Fried Chicken and we will have a release party happening at Juke Fried Chicken on October 1st at their Keefer St location. I have attached some images of the beer and a poster for the release party. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Aroma: Malty with delicate toasty sweetness and floral hop aroma.
Character: Clean and smooth with classic elegant malt character
Colour: Deep golden
Hops: German Hallertau Tradition
Malt: Weyermann floor malted Pilsner malt
Yeast: S189
Pairing: Fried Chicken

Alcohol: 5.4%
IBU: 25
OG: 1.054

Fester is a very traditional German style made for the Bavarian Oktoberfest celebrations. In keeping with custom and quality we’ve brewed with German imported floor malted grains and continental Hallertau Tradition hops. The result is an exceptionally clean and smooth beer with a classic elegant malt character and floral hop finish.

On Tuesday, October 1, Juke will put its own spin on the annual German-themed beer-and-food fest by hosting a ‘Bawktobeerfest’ celebration in collaboration with Strange Fellows Brewing. The one-night-only extravaganza will feature a Strange Fellows tap takeover with a ‘Jukefest’ Lager brewed especially for the occasion in addition to schnitzel ‘double down’ sandwiches, Juke-brats sausages and more available for one night only.

A limited number of tickets to the event, which includes a frosty pint of the feature Jukefest Lager and snacks throughout the night, are available for $20 per person at jukefriedchicken.com/bawktobeerfest. Tickets will also be available at the door on the night of the event for $25 each.
