Sip Cocktails While Learning About the Fundamentals of Beekeeping at the Next ‘Odd Talk’

Vancouver, BC | In partnership with Rough & Tumble, Odd Society Spirits presents Odd Talks the last Monday of every month. With the intention of sparking spirited conversation, and camaraderie amongst those who work in the hospitality industry, Odd Talks is a series of inspiring educational talks paired with elevated cocktails. Drinks are prepared by some of Vancouver’s finest bartenders and topics range from distillation to honey terroir, to the science of the hangover. Building on previous success, the team at Rough & Tumble have curated an evening for the curious-minded that is a foray into the weird and wonderful.

The second edition of Odd Talks takes place at Odd Society Spirits (1725 Powell St.) on Monday, June 24 with story-teller Steve Sandve of EastVan Bees who will be sharing sweet stories about bees and beekeeping. Rough & Tumble will be mixing things up behind the bar with guest bartender, Amber Bruce of The Keefer Bar. No tickets required and space is limited—doors at 7pm, speaker at 8pm.
