Cioffi’s Meat Market & Deli is seeking a Kitchen Manager for the Cucina. The successful candidate will be responsible for the top-to- bottom operation of Cucina, which includes building and maintaining recipes and systems, preparation and sales of high quality meals, ready to eat and take out items, production of soups, stocks, sauces etc, and running an increasingly busy catering department. Good interpersonal skills are also important, as the kitchen manager will need to communicate regularly with the owners and other department heads, delegate work and schedule cooks and production, and enjoy face to face customer relations. This is an important job for an expanding company that offers a competitive salary, good benefits and an opportunity to grow and develop the position going forward. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years experience in a cooking position in both restaurants or catering and he/she has extensive knowledge of Italian and Mediterranean cusine.

Cioffi’s also has a need for a full time Event Coordinator to help organize catering orders and promote events.

25 years ago, Cioffi’s Meat Market & Deli began as a small family business proudly supplying the Lower Mainland with specialty local and imported deli, meat and grocery products. Rino Cioffi and his father Antonio opened the single store in February of 1990 which has since grown to have 3 side-by-side locations and over 80 employees.
