Vancouver, BC | Weekends at The Amazing Brentwood are about to get muy delicioso! Burnaby’s premier Mexican dining destination, La Taqueria Brentwood, is set to launch its brand new weekend brunch menu beginning this Saturday, March 28, 2026.
Blending bold flavours with contemporary flair, the new menu offers Chef Maria Ponce’s creative take on classic Mexican brunch dishes both sweet and savoury. Highlights include Enfrijoladas, featuring corn tortillas in a rich black bean sauce filled with feta, onion, and cilantro, finished with avocado crema, queso fresco, and salsa macha; the indulgent Croque Señorita, made with house-baked sourdough, béchamel, bacon, mozzarella, and a sunny-side-up egg; and Caramelized Banana Bread, a maple butter caramelized house-made banana bread, served with whipped cream, and cacao nibs.
Turn every weekend into a fiesta La Taqueria Brentwood’s signature build-your-own mimosa with freshly squeezed orange juice, alongside a selection of brunch cocktails and spiked Mexican hot chocolate. Early risers can also take advantage of a weekend brunch happy hour from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Following the weekend brunch menu refresh, La Taqueria Brentwood also plans to bring back the Boozy Summer Brunch Series as warmer weather approaches.
