Nk’Mip | First Nation toponym | An interpretive desert cultural centre and award-winning winery owned and operated by the Osoyoos Indian Band in the South Okanagan. Pronounced “in-ka-meep”, it translates to “bottomland” in the Colville-Okanagan vernacular of the Salish language.

Usage: “I made some pork loin last night and knocked the pairing out of the park with an old Syrah from Nk’Mip…”
