Naramata, BC | Natural wines have become increasingly popular in recent years. The styles and approaches may be new to many people, but it was many of these traditional methods that, 14 years ago, Heidi applied to her earliest vintages.

Chic Fille revisits Heidi’s self-taught roots with the aim of mentoring and inspiring JoieFarm’s winemaking team. These experimental wines are also meant for Heidi’s own continuous learning and, in their eventuality, improve our core JoieFarm portfolio. Crafted only in one or two barrel batches, each extremely limited offering explores a singular technique like ambient fermentation, extended skin-contact or semi-carbonic ferments to create distinctive and discussion-provoking wines.

This collection is a fun, flavourful, très chic adventure: a tour of cool-climate, lake-moderated terroir at its purest and natural winemaking techniques at their most elegant.
