Who Are Vancouver’s Best Oyster Shuckers? Find Out At Chewies On May 24th

Vancouver, BC | On May 24, 2015 at 12pm-6pm Chewies Oyster Bar (1055 Hastings) will be hosting the 1st Annual Shucking Competition/Fundraiser event sponsored by Red Truck Beer Company, Hosted by Vancouver’s very own Prevail, benefitting local Vancouver charitable cause Bikers For Autism.

Invites have been extended to 18 of the best shuckers in the city to compete to see who is the city’s fastest shucker. Prizing includes $1,000.00 in cash prizes along with a return flight to anywhere in North America. The overall winner will also be awarded the official “Shuck It Forward” Trophy for bragging rights.

The festivities will include:
Unofficial grand opening of the brand new Chewies patio
Red Truck Brewing Tap takeover
Southern Style Seafood Broil
Live music by Tim Sars Trio
Lords Of Gastown custom bike build photo-booth,
Information booths and special guest speaker(s) by Pacific Autism Family Center,

Bikers For Autism:

Bikers For Autism is located in Vancouver, BC and was established in 2012. A charitable cause that combines the passion of riding motorcycles with the dedication to raising public awareness and raising funds to support individuals/families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder

Pre sale tickets are available for $20 online at https://shuckitforwardbfa.eventbrite.ca or at the door day of the event. Entry fee will include a raffle draw ticket and 1 complimentary frosty pint of Red Trucks finest beers.
