The GOODS from Jamjar

Vancouver, BC | On October 9th 2015, Jamjar celebrates it’s one year anniversary on Commercial Dr. In it’s first year, the restaurant quickly became a city favourite for offering Folk Lebanese food and daily fresh hummus sold in reusable jars.

Jamjar’s focus on offering from scratch ethically sourced and prepared meats, seafood, and locally grown produce crafted in traditional Lebanese methods make it a unique offering in the city.

As a small thank you to the community that has supported it, Jamjar is offering free hummus refills for all Jamjar jar owners anytime between 11:30 – 16:00 on October 9th, 2015.

The restaurant is also celebrating the day with a cocktail reception held from 16:00-18:00, serving all it’s favourite delicacies and crafted cocktails to pair.

    ABOUT JAMJAR

    Photo-2014-10-12,-2-46-50-PM

Jamjar is a “from scratch” approach kitchen inspired by traditional eastern Mediterranean flavours and a passion for home-style Lebanese cooking. Due to the abundance of fruit and produce in Lebanon, households often convert their excess fruits into jam, and in true Levantine spirit they share their creations with neighbours and friends.

At Jamjar, we replicate this gesture of unspoken generosity and showing of affection through food, on a daily basis. We source our produce daily, ensuring our food is always fresh. We also partner with local producers and suppliers in order to support the local community that supports us in turn. In keeping with tradition, Jamjar sells its dips in recyclable mason jars that customers bring back for refills at a discount.

Located on diverse Commercial Drive, Jamjar weaves perfectly into the rich tapestry of cultures found in this welcoming neighbourhood.
