Coal Harbour’s Fat Badger Preparing Series Of Special Roasts Through December

Mini-Yorkshire-puddings

The GOODS from The Fat Badger

Vancouver, BC | The cold winter months and holiday season signal a time to celebrate togetherness, and friends and families looking to feed a crowd need to look no further than The Fat Badger. Chef Neil Taylor serves Sunday Roasts every week, a dinner tradition inspired by his childhood in the UK. Through the month of December, Taylor will serve the finest farm-to-table offerings of roast pork, beef, and lamb alongside traditional sides such as Yorkshire pudding, duck fat-roasted potatoes or Brussels sprouts. Sunday Roast dinners can be enjoyed by one guest, or shared by a large group. On December 20th, The Fat Badger will celebrate the season with a specialty true to Chef Neil’s British heritage—a rich, succulent Christmas goose.

Groups are encouraged to book their table early, as seats are expected to fill quickly. Reserve a table for family and friends at www.fatbadger.ca or by calling 604-336-5577. A private dining area and Christmas holiday menus will also be available throughout December

The Fat Badger’s roast dinners are available every Sunday. The roasts are served as plate per person and pricing is dependent on the cut of meat, ranging from $20-$30. The December Roast Dinner lineup is:

December 6th: heritage pork shoulder with crackling and apple sauce
December 13th: local leg of lamb, mint sauce, redcurrant gravy
December 20th: goose, sage and onion stuffing, cider gravy

    About The Fat Badger

    Mini-Yorkshire-puddings

Here at this little red house, built in 1903, on Alberni street, we have tried to open a space reminiscent of the old pubs, in and around London, that we used to frequent as young adults.

Completely unpretentious, full of people of all ages, talking about nothing and everything, and not watching tv.

Drinking tasty beers and eating delicious food all made in house using the best local ingredients. Our food menu changes daily, depending on what we get in from the local farms and what’s in season, so you can always try something new

Currently we are open from 5pm until 11pm for dinner, seven days a week and 11am until 3pm on the weekend for brunch. We hope to be open for lunch sometime in the near future.
