Vancouver, BC | Get ready to fill up on one of BC’s favourite seasonal seafood items: Spot Prawns. Mark your calendar now for The Chefs’ Table Society of British Columbia’s free, family-friendly, Spot Prawn Festival on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 11am – 3pm at the False Creek Fishermen’s Wharf.

Spot Prawn Boil | Within the festival is the perennial sell-out gastronomic delight: the Spot Prawn Boil. Early-bird tickets are on sale now for $17.50 (plus tax and service charges). This also includes access to the drink tent for free samples from R&B Brewing and Evolve Cellars.

The festival, presented by the Chefs’ Table Society of BC, in partnership with the Pacific Prawn Fisherman’s Association, and Fishermen’s Wharf, gives attendees the opportunity to enjoy free entertainment, free activities for kids and cooking demonstrations performed by top local chefs, all while watching the first prawn boats of the season arrive to offer live, locally-sourced prawns available for purchase directly from the dock.
