The GOODS from THISOPENSPACE

Vancouver, BC | Busting out of a five year run at homegrown mega-retailer Aritzia, Candy Soo launches academic inspired womenswear label, Liberal Arts, this summer. The line offers carefully selected, effortlessly stylish pieces for Vancouver women leaping towards Fall. Think linen blouses, chunky denim, light knits, and soft draped dresses, all neatly lining The Playground in Chinatown daily from now until Oct 1.

Soo, previously a fashion journalist for the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong, brings a unique, interdisciplinary perspective to Liberal Arts. There are some 25 designers behind her line and the pieces are already going like hot cakes. All the merchandise is exclusive to Liberal Arts and there will be new arrivals every week.

Head into Fall with carefully designed clothes in a fairly neutral palette of burnt ombre, cream and midnight blue hues that set Liberal Arts apart from fast fashion. Soo herself is elegantly paired down and making fashion waves all on her own. Scope Liberal Arts on Instagram and Facebook for the latest.
