Bakery Pop-Up Set for June 9th at Strathcona’s Les Amis du Fromage

The GOODS from Les Amis Du Fromage

Vancouver, BC | We’ve scheduled the next Bakery Pop-Up at our East Vancouver store on Saturday June 09, 2018. Guest Baker Lauren Ritchie will be selling hand-made loaves of bread from Noon to 5pm.

From her website:

Lauren moved to Vancouver from chilly Winnipeg, Manitoba when she was 27. She will always be a prairie girl at heart, but she feels at home amongst the beautiful mountains and sparkling ocean. Lauren attended Northwest Culinary Academy’s Professional Bread and Pastry Arts diploma program and graduated with honors as co-valedictorian. Her plan is to open her own bakery, specializing in sourdough breads featuring local suppliers. Her goal is for the bakery to be part of a growing homestead-type property growing its own produce and grains: and raising animals that will supply fresh eggs and milk.

Drop by and support this local baker by picking up a loaf or two.

We’re looking for a few good bakers to hold some pop-up shops at our East Vancouver location of LADF. Is your bread and/or are your baked goods good enough to draw a crowd? Would you like to test the waters with a pop-up shop? Give us a shout.
