You Need To Try This Sakura Onigiri in Japantown

You Need To Try This is a running archive of all the awesome drinks and delicious dishes we’ve come across over the course of our professional and private lives.

This fleeting onigiri treat at Japantown’s Dosanko is loaded with chunks of lobster, pickled beets, pickled cherry blossoms and flecks of shiso that cling to the rice. I often think the homestyle Japanese restaurant is one of the most underrated in town, and that has never been more true than right now. Eat this paired with a daiquiri if you want to improve on a perfect Spring day.
