Trolley Bus | Legend | An electric bus with ladder hooks connecting to power wires strung above the street. Vancouverites take them for granted as moving fixtures on our landscape, but they’re very much a fascinating part of our history. As the BCER converted from “rails to rubber”, trolley buses were introduced on the old streetcar routes. Today, there are only 13 routes remaining.
Usage: “I love how patient passengers are whenever a trolley bus unhooks from its route wires…”
