Trounce | Place | Trounce Alley is the real name of Gastown’s Blood Alley, which runs east-west from Carrall (between Cordova and Water) to where it connects on a diagonal with Cordova at Homer Street. Named after the much shorter Trounce Alley in Victoria, it is rumoured to be one of the most photographed alleys in the world due to its proximity to the Steam Clock. Scenes from The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and The Neverending Story were filmed in Trounce.
