Pigeon Park | Place | A small triangular relic of the CPR railway’s right of way on the northwest corner of Hastings and Carrall. Since its beginnings at the start of the 20th century, Pigeon Park (officially “Pioneer Place”) has always been a place where the marginalized have gathered.
Usage: “I was buying a pair of crutches at Pigeon Park when I saw an old lady handing out kittens from a garbage bag…”
