The American Launches First Ever Boozy Spelling Bee, June 23rd

Vancouver, BC | You may have shown your smarts at Trivia, tested your music knowledge at Music Bingo, or sang your heart out at Karaoke, but now The American is hosting an all new night aimed to get friends together over a pint (or two!) and put their spelling skills to the test. The American is proud to announce their first ever Boozy Spelling Bee taking place on Monday, June 23rd!

The Main St. bar has put a tipsy twist on the nostalgic spelling bee that encourages teams to spell it out for a chance to win the grand prize of $200 cold hard cash as well as prizing from local sponsors.

Teams of 2-6 players can sign up and each team will nominate 1 brave contender from their group to go onstage to compete for points against other spellers. Remaining teammates cheer on their boozy buddy and will also have opportunities to gain points themselves!

Hosted by IQ 2000, this is the perfect opportunity to put those brain cells to the test, win some great prizes, and get your buzz on!

Signup starts at 6pm, with Gameplay happening from 7-9pm. There is a $10 signup fee per team. Limited spaces are available, so reservations are highly encouraged! More info on how the Boozy Spelling Bee works can be found here.
