The Goods from Tocador
Vancouver, BC | This February, Tocador is opening the doors to a few familiar faces.
For three Tuesdays, we’re bringing back former bar leads and long-time favourites for short guest shifts behind the bar. These are people who helped shape our drinks program, our rhythm, and our culture. Each night comes with a custom menu and a personal angle tied to their time here.
Tuesday, February 3: Raphaëlle Jourdren
Our former bar manager for three years, now at Lao Wai and Published. A steady hand, sharp palate, and a big part of what made the bar feel like home for so many regulars. Expect thoughtful cocktails, strong energy, and a few surprises.
Raphaëlle’s ‘One Piece’ Menu
Bink’s Sake: Coriander seed infused sake, rum, grapefruit liqueur, lemongrass, clam juice
Gol D. Roger: Rum, spiced hibiscus and pomegranate syrup, mint, coconut water
Santoryu: Midori, nori infused overproof rum, acid solution
Devil Fruits: Cider, rum, camomile and honey tea, ginger, verjus
The One Piece (shot): Cacao nibs infused rum, honey and one piece of butter (served hot)
Tuesday, February 9: Stephanie Koh
Now at Bartholomew. Her return is really special for us because she was our general manager for six years. We miss her a lot.
Tuesday, February 16: Maggie Campbell
Maggie was one of our very first bartenders and was with us for about three years. She went on to open her own independent café, MAH, on Victoria Drive, and we’re really proud of her.
It’s a small run, built around people who helped make Tocador what it is. If you’ve been drinking with us for a while, these nights will feel familiar in the best way. If you’re newer, it’s a good window into our roots.
Reservations recommended; walk-ins always welcome. Come early. Tables will move fast.
