Vancouver, BC | The Flamingo Room, a cocktail destination on Commercial Drive, is playing host to two of Vancouver’s finest bar talents on Sunday, February 23rd.

Join Kabir Sehgal (Zarak) and Liam Hatton (Mount Pleasant Vintage) alongside The Flamingo Room team for an Extra Special evening of fun, creativity, flair, and cocktails. Known for their energy, skill, and bold flavours, Sehgal and Hatton will be pushing the boundaries with four cocktails each, all embracing “extra”.

“Remember when you were a kid and every once in a while you’d get treated to a milkshake? Well, this drink is the best part of that milkshake,” says Hatton on his “Extra Milkshake” with single malt whiskey and an Averna and Amaro strawberry ice cream distillate. “They’d give you the tin with the bonus milkshake that wouldn’t fit in the glass, and you’d feel a little sneaky, like you’d been given more than you should, so you’d drink it super fast. Well, this is the adult version!”

Also on the menu is the “T.O.E.” – Tequila, Obmanthus tea blend vermouth, Eucalypts maraschino liqueur – made even more interesting by Hatton’s backstory (he was born with an extra), while Sehgal’s “Nacho Average Negroni” features a playful Doritos Mezcal with parmesan vermouth, white miso tincture, and parmesan and truffle air.

The Extra Special Pop Up begins at 5pm on Sunday, February 23rd for one night only, but is just the first of The Flamingo Room’s visiting bartender series (more info to come).

Due to limited capacity, guests are encouraged to book in advance (walk-ins will be accepted depending on availability). Reservations can be made online through The Flamingo Room.
