We are currently seeking a General Manager for Ombré Restaurant, sister sibling to the prolific Wolf in the Fog Restaurant which has been at the forefront of Tofino’s culinary scene for over a decade.

Although Ombré is only a year old, it is recognized as the up and coming ‘jewel of Tofino’s culinary crown’. Ombre’s outstanding contemporary Mediterranean cuisine and seamless service has earned much critical acclaim. Pristine seasonal ingredients are sourced to deliver superbly conceived dishes offering modern interpretations of nature to table.

You Will Bring to Us

• 2 + years management experience in a full-service restaurant
• You pose an entrepreneurial and thinking “Outside the Box” attitude
• You possess a Serving it Right certificate
• Wine and Bar knowledge to support our sommelier and cocktails mixologist
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written
• Working knowledge with technological tools and systems such as POS system, Word and Excel spreadsheet
• Supervise and mentor and refine an enthusiastic management team
• Conduct recruitment, training, tasks delegation and performance evaluation
• Collaborates with Chef, Restaurant Director and Ownership in the growth of the business
• Oversees Inventory and cost control for liquor, beer wine
• Assist with social media platforms
• Participation in community events and establish relationship with locals
