West Kelowna, BC | In an extraordinary achievement, Mission Hill Family Estate has been named Winery of the Year at the prestigious annual WineAlign National Wine Awards of Canada, marking a historic milestone as Canada’s most awarded winery in WineAlign’s 25-year history.

This marks the sixth time Mission Hill has been bestowed this honour at the nation’s largest and most distinguished wine competition. With this latest accolade, the estate further cements its legacy as a pioneer in Canadian winemaking, not only for its world-class wines, but its unwavering pursuit of excellence across every vintage and visitor experience.

During the medal announcement, Mission Hill Family Estate also collected top honours with two platinum and seven gold awards for wines produced between 2020 and 2023:

The 2025 WineAlign National Wine Awards of Canada, celebrating its 25th-anniversary edition, was held June 21 – 25 in Penticton, BC. The rigorous judging process was led by the country’s most respected wine writers, educators and sommeliers.

The Chagall Room is now home to the Iconic Oculus Experience, which invites guests to experience Mission Hill’s most iconic wines – including Canada’s first 100-point red wine, the 2020 Oculus – in a setting of quiet luxury. Beginning with a tour of the estate’s underground barrel cellar, it is followed by a seated tasting that explores the unique and rare vintages of the Oculus. The Iconic Dining Experience offers a fully personalized culinary experience beginning with a guided welcome and a curated barrel pour.
