With musical guest, Woodpigeon!

Woodpigeon is the musical nom de plume of Mark Andrew Hamilton. Relocating to Vancouver from Vienna, Hamilton’s 2014 has included five international tours, the release of an album-length collaboration with Icelandic artists titled EMBASSYLIGHTS (with shows at this year’s Iceland Airwaves Festival in Reykjavik), and the recording of a new Woodpigeon album with producer Sandro Perri on Vancouver Island – set for release in 2015. Solo, Hamilton finds a middle ground between myriad loops and minimalist acoustic balladry, basking in the dynamic contrasts between the two. Woodpigeon has performed with Jose Gonzales, Grizzly Bear, Broken Social Scene and Andrew Bird, and proudly fits in neatly alongside their celebrated works.
