“Edible Canada House” To Host Restaurant Industry Pick-Up Hockey Game

True to form, Edible Canada on Granville Island is celebrating the 2014 Winter Olympics big time and they have a true “Canadian” weekend coming up at their Edible Canada House complete with beer, wine, caesars, comfort food and hockey. From the inbox:

“[At] the end of the festival on Sunday night, the Edible Canada team will be creating a road hockey rink on Granville Island and we are inviting all hospitality industry to come down and join us for a fun filled evening of pick up road hockey, fuelled by beverages and comfort food!

Starting at 9pm on Sunday night (Feb. 16th) and running until midnight, this industry gathering is the perfect way to celebrate the successes and stresses of Dine Out Vancouver as well as what will likely prove to be a crazy Valentine’s Day weekend.

Entry is only $15 (which will include two drinks and one food item) for the hockey game, show up anytime after 8pm with your hockey stick! No stick, regular entrance fees will apply. Additional drinks and food once inside are $7 each.

This is a perfect way to celebrate the Olympics, the end of DOV, the Valentine’s weekend and enjoy a fun party with all of your industry mates.”
