Vancouver, BC | The Chefs’ Table Society of BC and the BC Wine Industry have a long standing relationship. After steady support from local BC wineries for numerous events, The Chefs’ Table Society has graciously decided to step in and show the same support that they have received from local wineries in the past, with a $1000 donation to a Go Fund Me, a campaign to help cover fees to fight for Canadian Wine for All. Founded by Jamie Maw and Sid Cross, the Chefs’ Table Society of British Columbia is a registered, non-profit society composed of BC’s leading chefs and culinary professionals. Next week, small BC wineries are going to the Supreme Court of Canada to intervene in the R. v. Comeau liquor shipping case to make wine from Canadian-grown grapes accessible to all Canadians.
