Botanist to Host Four Pastry Chefs for a Seven-Course Dessert Doozy, Nov. 18th

On Tuesday, November 18th, Botanist restaurant in Fairmont Pacific Rim is hosting a sweet lineup of pastry chefs for one heck of a dessert doozy.

For this singular experience, Botanist’s own Executive Pastry Chef Kate Siegel is putting her head together with Executive Pastry Chef Kenta Takahashi (Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar), Executive Pastry Chef Oliver Bernardino (Wentworth Hospitality Group), and Pastry Chef Lisa Yu (Monarque, Montreal). Each of the four participating chefs will take the opportunity to share their individual dessert visions, which will be served to guests over the course of a seven-course, dessert-forward tasting menu – beverage pairings included.

Extra icing on the already decadent cake: Guests to this dessert dinner will also go home with a goody bag of chocolate bonbons, marshmallows, mini stollen, and madeleines, courtesy of Chef Takahashi to enjoy after-the-fact – the following day or as a midnight snack, no judgement here!

It’s not often that the final (and arguably most underappreciated) course of the meal gets to hog the spotlight – same-same for their talented creators. So, if you’ve got a soft spot for the sweet stuff, and want a good excuse to eat dessert for dinner instead of after dinner, then this is it. Tickets are $155 (plus tax and grats). Consider yourself duly enabled to snag yours HERE now.
