Awesome Folks at ‘Growing Chefs!’ Launch New EAT. GIVE. GROW. Campaign

Image via Growing Chefs!

Our friends at Growing Chefs! are launching a new campaign called Eat. Give. Grow. that will allow restaurants and businesses to promote their support for the non-profit and raise money without having to donate any funds themselves.

It’s a cool idea — Growing Chefs! is full of them. They’re one of our favourite programs in the Lower Mainland, chiefly because we’ve seen and experienced the difference they make with kids in our own neighbourhood. If it’s within your power to get on board with this, it would be wonderful if you did!

Here’s the basic skinny:

For 1-3 months (June/July/August), we are asking restaurants to add $1 to an item. They then donate that $1 to Growing Chefs! We dedicate a bunch of resources to talking about the campaign to our extensive, engaged social media and email following; 15,000+ foodies, chefs, etc.

Our goal is to engage 30 restaurants and to raise $16,000. This amount is equivalent to the delivery of our Classroom Gardening & Cooking Program to 4 classrooms.

To date, participating restaurants for Eat. Give. Grow. 2019 include:

The Acorn
The Arbor
ARC at Fairmont Waterfront
Ask for Luigi
Burdock and Co.
Cartems Donuts
Corner Stone Bistro
The Deck Kitchen + Bar
Di Beppe Restaurant
Donnelly Group (establishments TBD)
Forage
Hey, Dumplings!
Indecent Risotto (Victoria)
Les Faux Bourgeois
Pizzeria Farina
Pourhouse Restaurant
SOIL
Timber
