The GOODS from Odd Society Spirits

Vancouver, BC | In partnership with Rough & Tumble, Odd Society Spirits presents Odd Talks the last Monday of every month. With the intention of sparking spirited conversation, and camaraderie amongst those who work in the hospitality industry, Odd Talks is a series of inspiring educational talks paired with elevated cocktails. Drinks are prepared by some of Vancouver’s finest bartenders and topics range from distillation to honey terroir, to the science of the hangover. Building on previous success, the team at Rough & Tumble have curated an evening for the curious-minded that is a foray into the weird and wonderful.

The third edition of Odd Talks takes place at Odd Society Spirits (1725 Powell St.) on Monday, July 29, welcoming speakers from East Van Roasters (EVR). Storytellers Shelley Bolton (EVR manager and chocolate maker) and Stacey Lynden (EVR head coffee roaster) will be sharing all of the delicious details about their craft while better familiarizing guests with the aromas and flavours of single origin coffee and chocolate. Rough & Tumble also welcomes guest bartender, Souhail Rosta of the Pourhouse who has created a cocktail list inspired by the science of coffee and chocolate. No tickets required and space is limited—doors at 7pm, speakers at 8pm.
