Chinatown’s Mamie Taylor’s Serves Up Savoury & Sweet Late Night NYE Revelry

The GOODS from Mamie Taylor’s

Vancouver, BC | After last year’s successful bacchanal, Mamie Taylor’s is hosting their second annual New Year’s Eve Party. Informal and come-as-you-are—just like the restaurant itself—expect an evening of rampant fun with an open bar crafting proper vintage cocktails and pouring select beer and wine throughout the festivities, which promise to extend well into New Year’s Day. And, of course, there will be the requisite bubble toast at midnight.

Chef Tobias Grignon will be serving canapés, small bites and late night snacks cocktail-style, including menu favourites like Fried Green Tomatoes with Parmesan crust and pine-nut aioli, Devilled Eggs with smoked trout and Chicken Wings stuffed with house Boudin Noir. Those with a sweet tooth will want to ring in the New Year with warm Chocolate Chip Cookies, mini Apple Turnovers with Dulce de Lèche, or Peanut Butter Mousse with a Brownie Crumble.
Tickets are $125 (tax and tip included, service charges extra) and are available online at www.mamietaylors.ca

ABOUT MAMIE TAYLOR’S

14673772945_76638a62a4_h
Named after its signature cocktail—a Golden Age concoction of scotch, fresh lime juice, ginger beer and Angustora bitters— Mamie Taylor’s is an 85-seat regional American restaurant specializing in Southern comfort food with a contemporary twist.

At the vanguard of Chinatown’s new culinary scene, the relaxed and casual ambiance of exposed brick walls and kitschy Canadiana play into the neighbourhood’s up-and-coming charm.

We also have taxidermy. Lots of taxidermy.
