Eagleridge Bluffs | Event/Place | Like Cut and Cover, Eagleridge Bluffs became a flashpoint in the lead-up to the 2010 Winter Olympics when a coalition of protesters were arrested for opposing the construction of a 2.4km stretch of the Sea To Sky Highway through environmentally sensitive areas. One of those arrested, native elder Harriet Nahanee, contracted pneumonia from her time in jail and later died.

Usage: “Man, this new section of the Sea to Sky through Eagleridge Bluffs is a real breeze! Too bad it was paved with the blood of innocents.”explore-the-lexicon
