Beatroute | Media | We don’t know who in their right minds would think it would be a good idea to start a free print magazine in the 21st century, but astonishingly – in the case of Beatroute – it seems to have worked. Following the success of its Alberta edition (2004), co-publisher Brad Simm and editor-in-chief Glenn Alderson have been churning out this BC music-focused rag since 2009, filling the vacuum left by the likes of Terminal City, The Only and The Nerve.
