Hope and Glory As Glasvegas Rocks Richards

I had a spectacular time last night at the Glasvegas show, made all the more awesome by the fact that the opening act got held up at the border and local guitar hero (and restaurant industry veteran Rich Hope) walked out and started rockin’ in their stead (glass of “apple juice” at the ready). Glasvegas took the stage at a little before 11pm. They played an even set that included (I believe) every track from their debut album, among them Geraldine and Daddy’s Gone. Though incomprehensibly Scottish, they’re a frickin’ great band.

I took a few flashless snaps, for what they’re worth (not much)…
