‘Shellebrate’ Atlantic Lobster at Provence Marinaside’s Annual Lobster Festival

Vancouver, BC | Provence Marinaside’s popular Lobster Festival returns on May 29th and continues through to the end of June. Whether you prefer them steamed, grilled, boiled or sautéed, everyone can agree they love the sumptuous flavour of fresh Atlantic lobster.

“In Marseille, where I grew up, there was always a celebration of the various seasonal catches. Something similar happens in the Maritimes with their traditional Lobster Boils. In that spirit of seasonality, we started offering our Lobster Festival in 2015 and it’s proved so popular, we’ve brought it back every year,” comments Provence Marinaside Owner/Executive Chef Jean-Francis Quaglia.

The special three-course prix fixe menu is priced at $89 per person with an optional two-course wine pairing at $36. If guests are looking for something other than the suggested pairing, Provence Marinaside offers more than 140 wines-by-the glass and more than 300 wines-by-the-bottle.

Wine Director Joshua Carlson has selected wines from Nova Scotia’s multi-award-winning winery Benjamin Bridge to accompany the lobster dishes. “In keeping with our philosophy of what grows together goes together, I chose to pair the menu of Nova Scotia lobster with wines produced there as well,” he comments. “Benjamin Bridge’s sparkling wines display the hallmarks of classic prestige cuvées from Champagne, but with a Nova Scotia signature.”

In addition to this special Lobster Festival Menu, Provence Marinaside also offers a regular menu of French-inspired seafood and non-seafood dishes.

Recently, Provence was named amongst 2025’s Top 100 Restaurants in Canada for Outdoor Dining by recommendations in the reservation app Open Table.
