Secure Your Tickets for the Ama X Billy Nine-Course Collaboration Dinner Now!

Certain culinary mash-ups – like premium Japanese seafood combined with the freshest local and in-season summertime ingredients coming out of the soil – simply can’t go wrong. With that in mind, the margin of error for the upcoming Ama Raw Bar collaboration dinner with guest Chef Billy Nguyen on August 21st is, by our estimation, virtually nil!

Guests to this one-night-only event can expect a menu that showcases premium imported Japanese seafood and the finest locally sourced produce from British Columbia, transformed into nine beautiful and delicious courses by the hands of Chef Nguyen (Top Chef Canada Season 9) and Ama’s own extremely talented Head Chef Sean Yuen. (Think: confit king salmon with edamame, summer corn and horseradish crema; and scallop crudo, yuzu kosho brown butter and jalapeño with wild rice furikake.) All the better enjoyed within the restaurant’s escapist and sultry depths-of-the-sea atmosphere, of course!

There are two seatings to choose from (5:30pm and 8pm), and the whole shebang rings in at $130 per person. If you know what’s up (and you have the extra cashflow to spare) then we recommend heightening the experience even further by springing for the specially designed cocktail and sake pairing option. Either way, though, this seems like a pretty dang great way to leverage yourself over “humpday” and towards the weekend!

Wednesday, Aug. 21st | 5:30pm + 8pm
