Vancouver, BC | Ama Raw Bar, Gaia House’s ethereal, neo-noir Japanese-style speakeasy, is ringing in 2026 with a New Year’s Eve celebration featuring an exclusive five-course tasting menu by head chef Sean Yuen. The one-night-only experience brings together precision, intent, and the refined depth that defines Ama. Reservations are now available online.
“This will be our third New Year’s Eve at Ama, and each year gets better than the last,” says Yianni Kerasiotis, co-founder of Gaia House. “This year, Chef Sean is putting out all the stops with a special tasting menu, highlighted by premium ingredients. It’s always special when guests decide to enjoy the final meal of the year at one of our restaurants.”
Ama’s New Year’s Eve Menu ($120++ per person) features five courses and a glass of Moët & Chandon Nectar Impérial Champagne. The dishes include:
Bluefin Tartlette
Nagasaki bluefin, wasabi crema, trout caviar, 24k gold

“At Ama, our culinary approach for this menu is to feature a little bit of luxury in every bite,” adds Yuen. “From our local sablefish dish to the Canadian striploin, each course is designed to be memorable and thoughtful – a true reflection of the way we celebrate at AMA. It’s a great way to end the year and toast to the next.”
Ama’s full beverage menu, including cocktails and non-alcoholic options, will be available for guests. Those who book the last seating will also receive another glass of bubbly for the midnight countdown.
Ama is located in Vancouver’s Fraserhood community at 3980 Fraser Street, directly above sister restaurant Nammos Estiatorio.
