Phantom Creek Estates Announces New Executive Head Chef Alessa Valdez, Restaurant Reopening Day

Oliver, BC | The Restaurant at Phantom Creek Estates, the Okanagan Valley’s most exciting wine and culinary destination will be reopening to the public starting Friday, April 29 under the direction of our newly appointed Executive Chef, Alessa Valdez! While revelling in the captivating views of the Okanagan Valley, guests will experience a multi-course meal infused with local and seasonal ingredients alongside a thoughtfully curated selection of wines from the Estate.

The restaurant will be open for lunch service Thursday through Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Guests will have the option of a 2-course menu priced at $55 per person or a 3-course menu priced at $70 per person. A wine-paring can be added on for an additional cost. Reservations can be made here.

The menu includes gourmet dishes such as: Albacore Tuna with rice paper, ponzu, fennel, and blood orange; Duck Confit with puffed red quinoa, beets, wild mustard green, fava bean, and hoisin; Spring Risotto with asparagus, morel, fiddle head, sous-vide farm fresh egg, and pea shoot; and Torn Chocolate Cake with matcha ice cream, chocolate crèmeux, citrus tuile, and almond praline. With over 15 years of experience, Chef Alessa is well-versed in all aspects of culinary arts and looks forward to bringing her valuable skillset to the winery’s onsite restaurant.
