Vancouver, BC | Thierry is looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join their outstanding team! We are currently hiring friendly, outgoing, organized people, ideally with sales and/or customer service experience with a flexible schedule (may be required to work early mornings, weekends and holidays).

Thierry Busset is widely regarded as one of the finest pastry chefs in North America. Our shop boasts a stunning room featuring classic chocolates, macarons, cakes and pastries: all items are hand-made daily using only premium ingredients. Barista crafted espresso and liquid chocolate are also a central part of the cafe, complimented by a selection of sandwiches, soup and savoury products. We are also licensed and offer a selection of wine and spirits to compliment our wide array of products.

Qualifications:

– Minimum two years of relevant coffee shop, bistro and/or customer service experience.
– Great communication skills.
– Able to work with a worldly clientele.
– Organized, reliable, able to work under pressure and in a busy environment
– Courteous, helpful, warm and friendly demeanor
– Able to multi-task and have a good eye for detail
– Must be proactive and take initiative with a can do attitude

Duties are varied but include:

– Assist guest with their cake orders.
– Provide accurate information to guest regarding Thierry extensive product line
– Answer the phone & take orders over the phone
– Handle cash
-Patisserie packaging
-Bussing tables.
