As the evenings get cooler, there’s something innately comforting about a well-crafted meal paired with great wine. On Tuesday, October 8th, Bar Corso has got you covered, with a six-course dinner inspired by the flavours of Piedmont and Tuscany.
Just for the night, Chef Luke Boswell and his Corso crew are teaming up with winemakers Guido Orzalesi from Castello La Leccia and Matteo Calvaruso from Castello di Perno to bring the best of both regions to your table. Expect dishes like Carne Cruda all’Albese (basically an Italian-style steak tartare) and Bistecca Fiorentina (a famous steak dish from Tuscany), paired with wines such as Barolo DOCG 2017 and Chianti Classico Gran Selezione ‘Bruciagna’ 2020. The evening rolls out with antipasti and cicchetti at 6pm; then it’s straight into cena (dinner) and vino at 6:30pm. Tickets for the evening are $150 per person.
