Enjoy a CHOYA-Inspired ‘Cinq à Sept’ at Minami for Vancouver Cocktail Week

The Goods from Minami

Vancouver, BC | Minami has partnered with CHOYA, Japan’s premier umeshu brand, to present Cinq à Sept, an exclusive, week-long happy hour experience. From March 2 to 9, 2025, between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., Minami’s bar team, led by bar manager Morgan Lefort, will feature special umeshu-infused cocktails crafted for Vancouver Cocktail Week. These include: Tea Blossom, a refreshing blend of CHOYA Green Tea Umeshu, Prosecco, and soda; Osaka’s Highball, a bold mix of CHOYA Black Sugar Umeshu, Campari, and tonic; and Edo Gimlet, an elegant take on a classic with CHOYA 23, Tanqueray Gin, elderflower syrup, and lime juice.

Guests can pair their drinks with a selection of bar bites from Minami’s kitchen, including Ebi Fritters, Chicken Nanban, the Half Oshi Sampler, and Edamame.

On March 6, 2025, CHOYA’s International Sales Manager will also host a one-day pop-up at Minami from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., giving guests an opportunity to learn about Japan’s iconic umeshu firsthand.
