Chupito Transforms into “Casa México” During North America’s 50 Best Bars Festivities

The Goods from Chupito

Vancouver, BC | As the global bar community gathers into Vancouver for the North America’s 50 Best Bars ceremony, Chupito, one of the city’s leading destinations for agave-forward, zero-to-low-waste cocktails will transform its new home into Casa México, an immersive hub dedicated to the spirit, culture, and people of Mexico’s world-renowned bar scene.

Running from Sunday, April 19 through Wednesday, April 22, 2026, Casa México will bring together some of the most influential bars from Mexico City and beyond for four days of industry-leading seminars, aperitivo hour, and exclusive nightly guest shifts.

In partnership with Beverage Collective, the Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded Chupito will host a star-studded lineup of highly acclaimed bars, including Handshake Bar (#1 North America’s Best Bar 2025, #2 World’s Best Bar 2025), Licorería Limantour (#9 North America’s Best Bar 2025), Bar Mauro (#14 North America’s Best Bar 2025), Bijou Drinkery (#34 North America’s Best Bar 2025), alongside Ahorita Cantina, Despacho, FORM+MATTER, and Less is More. The program will also feature Toronto’s Slice of Life Bar (#90 North America’s Best Bars 2026) and Vancouver’s own Bar Supernova.

Each day begins at 12 PM with industry-only educational seminars led by visiting bartenders, exploring topics ranging from innovation and hospitality to evolving global trends. From 2–5 PM, Casa México opens to the public for a vibrant aperitivo hour, offering $10 martinis and curated snacks. The energy builds into the evening with guest bartending shifts starting at 8 PM, where some of the world’s top talents take over the bar.

“[For] Chupito, a bar built as a love letter to Mexico, hosting these teams is both a natural extension and a meaningful moment: bringing the culture, talent, and spirit that inspired the space directly into it,” say Chupito’s Tara Davies and Erick Vazquez.

Extending the experience beyond the bar, Chupito’s sister venue Comedor will transform nightly into Salón Solmano from 7 PM onward—an energetic late-night destination featuring DJs, a dedicated dance floor, and ready-to-serve Solmano Mezcal cocktails.

The celebrations culminate on Wednesday, April 22 with the Casa México After Party, where Supernova Bar sets the tone at 8 PM, followed by a rotating lineup of visiting bars from 11 PM until late.

Casa México is open to the public for aperitivo hours, guest shifts, and the after party. No reservations are required. Full program and seminar tickets HERE.
