Vancouver, BC | Anh and Chi restaurant is seeking a full-time Bar Manager to join our expanding team. If you are a dynamic leader and an exceptional coach, we would like to hear from you! Reporting to the Beverage Director and General Manager, they will ensure the day-to-day success of the restaurant.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will be responsible for, but not excluded to:
– Leading the bar team during hours of service.
– Providing support to Front of House team by stepping into any role as needed.
– Overseeing multiple aspects of the bar program, including creating new cocktail menus seasonally.
– Educating the Front of House team on knowledge of LWB (tastings, seminars, workshops, educational material, and other content).
– Responsible for all aspects of inventory and reporting of products, ingredients, and glassware relating to the Bar.
– Maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers.
– Ensuring all bar preparation is done with quality, freshness and at correct par levels.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Hardworking: Dedicated to excellence, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Experienced: You bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in crafting classic cocktails, experimenting with infusions, and understanding the nuances of spirits.
Passionate: You have a genuine passion for cocktails and hospitality, with a desire to constantly learn and innovate in the world of cocktails.
-Personal alignment with Anh and Chi’s vision, values and team culture
-2 plus years as a Bar Manager in the restaurant industry.
-5 plus years of cumulative experience in the restaurant industry.
-WSET Level 2 or greater is considered an asset.
-Proven leadership and exceptional customer service skills.
-A positive and energetic attitude and someone who is willing to grow within the company.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced and inter-functional team environment.
-High standard of professionalism and attention to detail.
-An entrepreneurial thinker and spirit – self starter, hard worker, with a systematic approach to things.
-An excellent coach who is disciplined, honest and leads by example.
-Demonstrated experience leading operations and related administrative work that is required in starting up and maintaining a restaurant business.
-Open availability including weekends and holidays. Must be available Sundays.
WAGE / PAY: 55-60k Dependent on Experience
