(photo: drpitch) Though I still haven’t received confirmation, sources from within both Watermark and The Boathouse have been telling me it’s a done deal: the former is to be taken over by the latter this week. I understand that there will be a temporary closure, and the date set for the resurrection of the sunset-centric stunner as “Kits Beach Boathouse” has been set for May 10th.

…the food can only get better!
In spite of all the early optimism this place is a dud. The kitchen is still too small for the # of seats, the food will therefore never be up to scratch, and the design really sucks for beachside dining. So many better options for a night out, and if you want the view, its there for free without the compromise of the lousy food. Call it Watermark or Boathouse its still a tourist trap.
