I had to judge a cooking competition for Tourism Vancouver and Ocean Wise at the Aquarium last night. As a long-time member with two kids who are fanatical fans of the dolphins, etc., it was weird being there after dark and weirder still with hundreds of high-heelers eating fine food and drinking wine, whirling around and generally confusing the hell out of the fish. I took this shot near the sharks in the midst of it, close to where “C” Restaurant was slinging salmon and sparkling. The bottle is sort of obscuring it, but there’s a sea turtle in there, busily etching “WTF?” on the glass with his beak.
