The good folks at Pallet Coffee Roasters are making some changes, turning their roastery space in Hastings-Sunrise into a full commissary kitchen and moving their roasting operations into Railtown.
Before September is through Pallet will have set up shop in the 7,000 sqft space at 395 Alexander Street, which is part of the Settlement Building (home to Belgard Kitchen, Postmark Brewing, Vancouver Urban Winery). The move is an expansion of their coffee roasting reach, moving from a 15 kilo roaster to a 45 kilo Probat. Though this new facility won’t technically be a cafe, there will be 15 seats for enthusiasts who want to drink their coffee at the source. A concurrent renovation at their Semlin Drive address will improve and streamline the kitchen while also growing the number of seats.
