The Goods from Minami
Vancouver, BC | Minami (1118 Mainland Street), Yaletown’s destination for contemporary Japanese cuisine, is celebrating the season with the launch of its limited-time Holiday Shokai, featuring a six-course tasting menu available from December 1 to 31, 2025.
Created by executive chef Alan Ferrer and his culinary team, the menu highlights winter’s most elegant flavours through refined dishes such as a Hirame Crudo, Aka Miso Marinated Lamb Chop, Chef’s Premium Nigiri and Aburi Oshi Trio, and a Cassis Orange Mousse by head pastry chef Nikki Tam. Reservations can be made online.
“The Yaletown neighbourhood is often one of the most festive areas of Downtown Vancouver, and we enjoy celebrating with the community through our Holiday Shokai menus,” says Seigo Nakamura, founder and CEO of ABURI Restaurants Canada. “Chef Alan, Nikki, and the entire Minami team have created a special tasting experience that features premium ingredients, seasonal touches, and of course, our signature Aburi-style cuisine guests have come to love.”
Minami’s Holiday Shokai is $125++ per person, with an optional all-BC wine pairing for $45 per person. The menu features:
