Tasty ‘Summer Suds N’ Grub Chef Challenge’ Set For UBC Amphitheatre, July 20

On July 20th five teams from UBC campus eateries will go head-to-head in a competition – the Summer Suds n’ Grub Chef Challenge – to create the best food-and-beer pairing using ingredients from the UBC Farm and Driftwood Brewing beer. Biercraft, Koerner’s Pub, Open Kitchen, AMS Conference and Catering and a special group of students and faculty from the university’s Land & Food Systems department will be vying for votes from a panel of expert tastebuds. Entrance to the event also includes a vote towards the People’s Choice Award. So grab your tickets, mark your calendars and exercise your palate’s right to vote!
