Exhibition With Works From 100+ Young Artists Hits Concourse Gallery, July 30

SIT_exhibition-2

It’s always wise to keep an eye on the next wave of emerging artists. Not only does the practice encourage artistic development, but it can also be a clever investment strategy (snap up those canvases before rising price tags render them unattainable). Such an opportunity presents itself this week in the Concourse Gallery at Emily Carr. Unsupervised, an exhibition of the works of over 100 accomplished young artists, features everything from sculpture, textiles, and painting to photography, illustration, and animation. The show hits the walls on Thursday night. Pairing it with a wander around Granville Island and a glass of wine (avec duck fat fries) at Edible Canada would make for a solid start to the long weekend.

Jul 30 – Aug 13 | 3-5pm | Concourse Gallery, Emily Carr (1399 Johnston St) | DETAILS
